It’s everything you love about a classic sausage sizzle — just levelled up.

🔥 How to make Loaded Snags

  1. Fire up the barbie and cook your sausages, turning once so they colour evenly.

  2. Slice each sausage open lengthways, then flip them cut-side down to char the inside for extra flavour.

  3. While they cook, butter the cut sides of the hot dog rolls and toast them face-down on the grill until golden.

  4. Place the sausages into the toasted rolls and load them up with cheese, onion, pickles and jalapeños.

  5. Drizzle with your favourite sauces, finish with fresh herbs, and serve hot.

Why Lamb, Mint & Rosemary sausages work so well here

The natural richness of lamb paired with fresh mint and rosemary stands up beautifully to:

  • Melted cheddar

  • Tangy pickles

  • Smoky BBQ char

  • Creamy sauces

That balance is what turns this from a basic hot dog into a proper BBQ sub.

These sausages are made in-store at The Lucky Pig and are often available fresh in the counter.
