Monster Mouth Burgers (Halloween Special)

Serves: 4
Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 4 Lucky Pig Wagyu Beef & Beetroot Patties
  • 4 slider buns
  • 4 cheese slices, cut into jagged “teeth” strips
  • 2 mini cucumbers, cut lengthwise into 4 “tongues”
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 8 olives, pitted
  • 8 toothpicks
  • Tomato sauce

Method

  1. Cook the patties in a frying pan or on the barbecue until browned and cooked through.
  2. Split the buns and layer in lettuce, a slice of tomato, and the wagyu & beetroot patty.
  3. Place a jagged strip of cheese over the patty so it looks like teeth. Add a length of mini cucumber so it sticks out like a tongue.
  4. Drizzle with tomato sauce.
  5. Top with the bun lid. Skewer two olives on toothpicks and stick through the top bun to make the monster’s eyeballs.
  6. Serve warm and watch the monsters come to life!

Tip: Great for Halloween parties or a fun weekend cook-up with the kids.
