The Lucky Pig’s Triumph at the VIC Regional Sausage King Competition 2024!

We are thrilled to announce that The Lucky Pig has achieved remarkable success at the VIC Regional Sausage King and Best Butchers Burger Competition 2024. Our dedication to quality and innovation has been recognised, and we couldn’t be prouder to share the results with our wonderful customers.

Our Winning Entries

1st Place in Metro B for Lamb, Apricot & Macadamia Sausages: Our unique blend of succulent lamb, sweet apricots, and crunchy macadamia nuts has captivated the judges. This sausage combines sweet and savoury flavours, creating a taste sensation that is truly one-of-a-kind.


1st Place in Metro B for Tom Kha Chicken Sausage: Inspired by the traditional Thai Tom Kha soup, this sausage features a harmonious blend of chicken, coconut, and spices. It’s a perfect balance of creamy and spicy, offering an exotic twist to your sausage selection.


1st Place in Metro B for The Leaning Tower Sausage: A favourite among our customers, this Italian-inspired sausage combines pork, craft ale, chilli, fennel, and basil. The robust flavours and aromatic herbs make it a standout choice for any meal.


2nd Place in Metro B for Irish Pork Sausage: Our classic Irish Pork Sausage, with its rich and hearty flavour, has once again proven to be a crowd-pleaser. Made with traditional recipes and the finest ingredients, it’s no surprise that it continues to win accolades.

We recently received a correspondence from AMIC, the hosts of the competition:
